Happy new year all. Anyone doing anything? I don't drink and don't like drunken people so I don't really know where I can go or what I can do. Any suggestions?

15 hours exactly into 2008 here.

Happy New Beer to all.

Speaking of beer, my mates left all their booze in my esky last night and forgot to get it off me before I left, so I scored lots of Jack Daniels, lots of Bulleit Burbon, lots of Strongbow, and a large amount of Coca Cola msn_grin.gif

And to those English here.. learn how to put on a real firework display. Come to Sydney and see how it's done.

I got trashed but rather wish i hadn't. Been hungover all day msn_sad.gif My lovely brother was giving me Smirnoff Ice with extra vodka all evening, so I was positively wrecked... pp.gif Not driving til tomorrow, though msn_wink.gif

Drove up to Norfolk where I saw my aunty and cousin to have a party which the owners of the building in which they are living in threw a big party. Was pretty awful as it was all old people and really poor band playing awful 50s, 60s and 70s music. Didn't have a fun time driving there and back and home with my car cutting out 3 times. Then when we got home we went to another aunty's house to play some games and eat and saw the rest of the family. I get to face the start of 2008 with a lovely big car bill yay msn_grin.gif. I just hope I can get to work fine tomorrow and the car doesn't die in the process of crossing a main road.

I hope everyone elses' new year got to a better start.

My girlfriend and I stayed in. Might sound boring for new years eve but we like that sort of thing. But because we live in the center of town we thought we'd stick our heads out of the window to hear the countdown from different pubs etc, and just before the countdown a couple walked by, the girl was having a go at the guy saying something along the lines of "I want out, I'm fed up with you, I'm tired of this, that and the other." So they walked off in seperate directions, and no less than 20 seconds later another couple came and had almost the exact same argument. It was pretty weird, I guess the new year brings such thoughts. I heard somewhere that new years eve has a high divorce rate etc.

Ouch, that sucks msn_sad.gif I've only recently got mine fixed, and the £450 it cost me wasn't much fun, so I know what it's like msn_sad.gif Hope it's not too bad for you.

Well, hungover isn't a very good start, but moving to Southampton is much better msn_happy.gif (I'm still visiting family in Sussex, and having to use Opera Mini on my phone, so I'll change my profile when I get back to civilisation and fast Internet access pp.gif).
