QUOTE
The best just got better! With one hundred thousand users already and a continuously growing collection of Display Pictures, Emoticons, Fonts and Backgrounds, we thought it was about time to improve our CustoMess software a bit (or rather: bytes). CustoMess, the automatic custom content installer for MSN Messenger 7, is unlike anything else out there: completely free and without a hidden catch (like ad/spyware).

Thanks to Blobz.net (that's our dearest Timothy!) the second edition we're unleashing today looks WAY cooler, works WAY better and -to celebrate the RC2 release appropriately- comes with THREE fresh emoticon packs by Keagle13, a new "lovely" emoticon font also by Keagle13, a new set of backgrounds (thanks Timothy!) and an impressive artist showcase by Nozzman. This unseen-before custom MSN Messenger content won't be available through the previous version of CustoMess, so update your software today

It's great but most of it dosen't work! The rock paper Scissors dosen't work cause pp.gif is : p and paper is ::: p! Same with scissors msn_confused.gif because it's : s and scissors is ::: s. But rock works.

Ps: I had to do the spaces...

My problem is that the Emoticons and the Artist Showcase section fails to download/install as it's not available or something.

It keeps saying "The content installation failed. Please try again later."

Customess new version does not work for me! It opens fine, it loads part of the flash, the layout with the Mess.be logo on it, but none of the proper content loads! What do I do?

If you get a "could not install msn messenger content" like error, here is the sollution:

a) you got too many Display Pictures / Emoticons / Backgrounds installed, remove some of your old ones before installing (max is about 50 / 100+ dp`s and 200+ emoticons)

b) clear your internet explorer`s cache, Tools -> internet options -> Temporary Internet Files -> Delete files

And another thing, a new update has been released, with some minor adjustments:

- New installer, tells you how to launch CustoMess after install
- StuffPlug-NG 2.1.300 and higher compatibility ( this new version of StuffPlug-NG will be released soon )

Thanks Tim... It was really the Emoticons... Is there a way for a future version of CustoMess to actually uninstall what it installs or detect what it has installed already... Is there a limit to the amount of Emoticons one can use? Also, are artist showcase actually emoticons or are they more of display pictures or backgrounds? Thanks.

Sorry, I cant make CustoMess detect yet how many you have installed, and if you have too much (because we still dont know how many is too much exactly),

Most of the pictures in the artist showcase are display pictures, only dieselsweeties also got emoticons.
