So I always use my msn contacts list in Full screen.

1024 * 768

But when I try to change the SCENE of WLM the picture I choose gets really pixilated.

I thought it was ebcause of the resolution. So I measured the sice of the scene.

It was something like 1024 * 83.

So I made a custom size image with those measures.

But still my image gets complety messed up.

What size do I have to make it so it's a perfect fit in full display mode of WLM.

Picture to explain my problem:

thats exactly what ive been messed with the whole morning lol, good question here. plz someone help^^

the thing is if u use a smaller picture as ur msn scene and you elarge the conversation window ur image will cropped or get resized. Even default msn scenes get pixilated when u maximize the window.

Ya this is all screwed up, it changes resolution when you change the window size. so saith my evidence

This is a pixel measurement picture against a ruler I used to show the difference in the size as I resize the window

scene is so screwed up that you can barely make out the numbers on that grid. from top to bottom its 400 500 600

I stretched the window horizontally and it seems to have zoomed in on the picture instead of keeping its original size.

i also should note that stretching the window vertically doesnt change the size of the scene picture because the dimensions within the scene box doesnt change.

i don't get it... i also don't think there will be any way to use a custom picture to make it look nice at the other end of your conversation. maybe if it would be possible to program the picture you want to re size it self according to the size of the convo. window, but iunno if that's even possible. maybe theyll fix this glitch but who puts faith into microsoft for the finer details?

p.s. bigger horizontal change in window size = zoom in on the picture
smaller horizontal change in window size = zoom out of picture
vertical change in window size = nothing

ok, i messed with it 2 for a while, then i got it right
First i used my 3 favourite pictures:

I combined these pictures in Photoshop, with the height 83px and width 1024:

When i applied it as a scene:

So, in Photoshop, the image width was 1024px, and the height was 83, so i just enlarged the image, leaving the picture in the middle, the height in this one is 1024px

After applying that:

And the picture is correct:) hope you undestood msn_wink.gif contact me if anything needed msn_happy.gif
