im still about too, I tried contacting dwergs a couple of months ago to ask what the deal was but never really got a reply. dwergs has been hanging out at his new site http://www.reface.me a facebook layouts, hacks, profile pictures, apps and general facebook related stuff site

as for Wave 4 its being built to be more like a social hub bringing all your social networks like twitter and facebook directly into messenger, this even includes windows live messenger to facebook chat features.

The leaked version featured above is an old milestone 2 build they are currently on M3 with M4 coming fairly soon. A lot has changed between 2 and 3 including a lot of improvements to the layout msn_happy.gif

Completely by accident I've stumbled across what I believe is the new design. Im not posting any links or screenshots, that would be unfair and I'm sure dwergs and co will do it when ready. I'm not even sure it is the new design but it looks to be slightly better than the current temp design but unfortunately I'm not sure everyone will love it.

Perhaps this could mean a Christmas launch?

Dead In Water! The companies have denied having any talks with qtrax and they wont be intrested!

don't be so sure pp.gif

the record companies did not deny having talks with them, they basicly said no contracts had been signed. The guy running qtrax made a speech last week, explainging the situation and syaing that they are still on thier way to bringing all the free music msn_happy.gif

nice one msn_grin.gif i'll let you know if i think of anything else.

Its been added to the mess.be front/news page now msn_happy.gif I'm guessing thats why it seems to be running slow at the moment.

I would suggest maybe getting yourself some hosting and domain name for the bot.

very good msn_happy.gif

only a couple of things I want to point out, the first being with the weather. Say for example I enter !weather Newcastle, there are multiple Newcastles around the world, if the bot finds multiple citys that with the same name maybe it could ask which one you want? eg.

"Quickbot found 3 results for Newcastle:
1. Newcastle, Australia
2. Newcastle upon Tyne, UK
3. Newcastle under Lyme, UK

Please choose a number"

I also noticed that if you enter something that doesnt make sense or doesnt exist theres nothing to say you've made a mistake or it can't be found. For example say i enter !en-abc the bot should reply somthing like "sorry that language doesnt exist or hasnt been added to me yet" the same with others like !weather "sorry that city doesnt exist".

Google results could do with each result being on a new line and maybe include the link title or description? I also noticed its getting the results for google.ru, maybe we could have the option to choose?

!news displys what I would expect it too although again would like to be able to choose where it gets the news from, I personally would prefer http://newsrss.bbc.co.uk/rss/newsonline_uk...n/world/rss.xml - BBC World News

!reverse is fun, expecially for confusing people

I perosnally woudlnt use !textart, !quote or !md5. They all work ok, perhaps a few gaps of large white space in the robots replys that could be removed msn_happy.gif

!help maybe it could show a description of each of the commands?

Great little bot you've created, make sure you submit it to mess.be msn_happy.gif
