I used to have this exact problem and even with some water I would just let the water pass and subconsciously prevent the pill from going down, or when it got to the beginning of my throat I would gag on it and it would come back up pp.gif What I do now is just place the pill in my mouth, pour as much water into my mouth as possible (until no more fits) then with my tongue I push the pill upwards so that it's suspended in the liquid and just take a big gulp. It works really well for me so next time have a go at this and goodluck msn_up.gif

Not to mention that patching your client doesn't really allow for the addition of your own code to execute a series of functions...

If you get an actual error when it crashes, just put it into google and it'll give you lots of results (there are loads of CS:S errors & their solutions out there on the net).

It seems a bit redundant to have the most commonly used emoticons under the DP when you can just as easily press the emoticons button in the convo. The only thing it would save is 1 mouse click...

If he is specifically linking to files (or download pages) which are obviously 'warez' then it is illegal and he does carry responsibility. Not that I know much about managing warez sites but I would imagine that the hosting is not paid by a credit card containing the owner's details for safety reasons.

PS: I dont think discussing the details of how they get away with it would be suitable in these forums as it could be considered as promoting an illegal activity msn_tongue.gif

True, but theres also the possibility that the user is online but is not at their pc (or is busy doing something else) msn_tongue.gif Either way it is worth trying on a contact if you really want to know if theyre online (which I dont really know why you would want to) but you probably shouldn't rely on it as a 100% working strategy msn_up.gif

It would work if you knew John's IP or if you were sure no one else apart from John will visit this page. It is not however a fool-proof method as John may not want to go to that website.

Sometimes (rarely) people double post because they have more than 5 attachments (or whatever the limit is per post) for tutorials and such. What would happen if these posts were merged, would half the attachments just go missing?

I would say that chances are a WLM version accustomed to the Vista style wont employ transparency and such features but rather will be more likened to the type of style we're seeing with IE7... Just my two cents msn_tongue.gif

[EDIT]If you have not already tried to, go to the Troubleshooting and when it detects the problem with your port configuration it should have a 'Repair' button which you can press which actually can fix the issue a majority of the time.[/EDIT]

It could be a problem with your internet connection, if you're on dial-up or are experiencing relatively slow speeds with your broadband/cable connection then this could be the cause of the problem. If this is so you just need to ensure that you are not hogging your bandwidth extensively doing other things (such as downloading from P2P software etc.) such that WLM is not able to sustain a stable connection.

If this is not the case I would suggest temporarily uninstalling (Start > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs) all three of your plugins; StuffPlug, Messenger Discovery and MsgPlus! (not just disabling them) just to check if it is any combination of these programs which are causing the issue. If this does not fix the issue then you may reinstall the programs.

Goodluck with this problem and I hope it works out.. msn_up.gif

This used to be a problem with early releases of Windows Live Messenger as it did not allow transfer of such extensions since these files (mp3, exe, tif, etc.) are seen as potentially dangerous. To solve this patches to WLM were available which removed this restriction but when the file was clicked from within WLM after the transfer it was deleted (ie. what's happening to you).

This protection feature became optional in newer versions of WLM so firstly I would suggest removing any patches you may have applied (eg. from APatch or MessPatch), ensure that you have the newest version of Windows Live Messenger then go to Tools > Options > File Transfer (tab) and uncheck the box which says 'Automatically reject file transfers for known unsafe file types' and it should fix it.

I've been playing this game for about 3 months now whenever I'm bored and have nothing else to do, and it has to be one of the most entertaining games ever.
If you get sick of the default songs provided there are more available online (created by users) at http://www.fretsonfire.net/cgi-bin/ikonboard.cgi in the Tune Tradin' section but download ones with good comments because there are some badly made ones (ie. with keyboard notes out of sync with the song and such).
PS: Bang Bang, Mystery Man (the first default song) provides great practice for beginners and also if you haven't figured it out yet, you're supposed to hold the keyboard like a guitar with the back of the keyboard facing towards your chest... msn_tongue.gif

StuffPlug always had very limited useful functions (such as increasing max letter limit in messages), most functions have always been novel.

Most of the services which offer something like this tend to have a limited time use after which they are automatically deleted from your PC and are in a custom format which must be watched via dedicated software (ie. it will not run in any of your normal media players such as WMP, Winamp, etc). If the service is similar to that outlined (you should read more details about the service) then it is highly unlikely that you will be able to convert it to an iPod-compatible format unless it is offered in such a format directly from the site/service.

Tbh this game is kinda disappointing, it has a few ideas which are cool such as the whole wingmen thing. But overall the game is poorly done; the career mode is far too easy and short - the canyon challenges are the only races which provide any form of challenge and even they are relatively easy... I finished the entire career mode with 100% completion and more than 1/3 of the challenge series (which doesnt get any more difficult as you progress as it did in Most Wanted) in approx 6 hours.
