Nintendo deserve it more, who copied the movment sensor.

In japan, they did a vote, 70% wii, 30% PS3.

And the PS3 controller, not a good shape for motion sensor.

Oh and you'll be able to buy, like, 3 Wiis for the price of a PS3. That or a Wii and a 360...

Communication: Wii can communicate with the Internet even when the power is turned off. This WiiConnect24 service delivers a new surprise or game update, even if users do not play with Wii. Users can connect wirelessly using IEEE 802.11b/g, or with a USB 2.0 LAN adaptor. Wii also can communicate wirelessly with Nintendo DS.

Ah Sony, where ripping off the competition a business model. So it's going to be wireless with a motion sensor. Golly. Breaking some new ground here! If only you could rip-off something like the Wii's price.

That's pretty bad, if accurate. I always thought that the Japanese loved everything that Sony made so I was expecting it to still sell well there.

Well it has 4 wireless "ports" - look at the controller itself, there are 4 LEDs at the bottom to indicate which "port" it's connected to, just like the 360 and PS3 do. They're saying minimum, there, because there will be more than 4 channels available to the console (the Gamecube's wireless controllers - Wavebirds - had 16 wireless channels to choose from - and I think the Xbox360's wireless channel count is similar) so it's possible for other wireless devices to connect to the console as well as 4 controllers.

At least that's what I imagine they're saying... msn_tongue.gif

Yes you can play online with it. And no one quite knows what the graphics of the Wii will be like. ATI hadn't finished the Wii's graphics card by E3 so they weren't actually showing final hardware, but yes, they won't be as good as the 360's or PS3's, but that allows them to sell it for a hell of a lot less. And anyway, gameplay is always more important than graphics msn_tongue.gif

Probably - you know what Nintendo's like for releasing game after game after game from the same series. ... (Yes they're almost as bad as EA, but unlike EA, Nintendo actually add fun new gameplay elements to the game, rather than merely releasing the same game with improved textures!)

Edit: Just realised... In the poll you call it a "Nintendo Wii". I'm pretty sure it's going to be marketed as just "The Wii" rather than attach "Nintendo" to it.

The Wii looks cheaper and better. That's a winning combination in my book.
