Hey guys,

First of all it's been a long time since we've made an announcement on the forums, we've all been really busy. Congratulations to those of you who have been invited into the Windows Live Messenger 9.0 BETA program, it's going to be a blast testing with you guys. Over the past week, loads of information, screenshots, and the actual BETA itself has leaked out into the public (And the feature list was leaked, and was a complete OOPPS on my behalf). We at mess.be have always welcomed discussion and general information being posted on the forums. However, the current private BETA which all of you are so eagerly testing is indeed under NDA, which can be found here. Therefore we have set some guidelines regarding this particular BETA. They are as follows and subject to change without notification:
  • Any discussion about the BETA is acceptable on the forums.
  • Your suggestions, bug reports, and anything you'd like to share with others is allowed to be posted.
  • No screenshots are to be posted, regardless.
  • Anything taken directly from connect (Change log, feature list, personal remarks, etc etc) is strictly prohibited.
  • Links to the BETA program are not acceptable under any circumstances, you will be suspended if you are found posting links to the program.
  • This list is subject to be changed at any point in time, so before posting about visit this announcement.
Please remember that we at mess.be are always willing to work with are loyal users, but keep in mind that Microsoft Employees do read our forums, and are actively removing leakers from the Connect website. We don't want to see anyone banned from Microsoft Beta's so watch what you post.

We hope you have a great holiday season, and happy testing!

From everyone at Mess.be msn_cool.gif.
