Hmmmm I don't really know what Spec to get for my money though.

I keep seeing deals which are ok but not right, ideally I'd like 512mb ram and at least a DVd player and CD player

there are some good deals on dell. you just need to choose the right options. unfortunatly there website isn't working properly atm.

when i customise something. and then click update price or continue. it doesn't work msn_confused.gif

tried in firefox (latest version) and IE6

I'm looking to see what other people can find for me really. I know I need to comprimise a bit on something but whats annoying me.

I know where to buy one dell, ebuyer, dabs, etc I could do that from google.

I just want to see what kinda spec I could get from someone whos unbiased

In india u would be getting something arnd the following specs.. would be the same there i suppose..
PENTIUM 1.6GHz/256MB DDR /14" WXGA TFT/40GB HDD/CD

yeah but from dell. you can get that + dvd player and a CD writer + 512MB ddr2 ram

Edit: i'm not trying to be biased, just looking at where the good deals are msn_tongue.gif

well i checked on www.npithub.com ..thats the cheapest market i know of.. but if we visit dat place it will be more cheaper..its website just sucks!
