Hey.

This may sound stupid, but I can't figure out how to hide the chat window's border. I accidentally pressed some key combination that made it appear, and after hours of trying around, searching google, searching this forum, searching MSN help I decided to give up and ask here.

Obviously there's some key combination, but what is it?
Messpatch doesn't have an option for it, StuffPlug doesn't have an option for it, MSGPlus doesn't either, it's nowhere in the settings. Restarting has gotten me nowhere. I just can't for love of my life seem to hide the border again.

Usually the border is gone, and the window itself is draggable, but now the the border appears (and it goes above the MSGPlus tabbed chats too), and it's the only way to move the window around. I just want to have that nice cropped window again with the smooth borders.
Can anybody help me?
I'm using WLM 8.5 by the way.

I'll go see if there's some config file or registry setting for it.
Thanks in advance,

-Nick

Update:

Wow.
After hours of trying, I figured it out just after I posted about it.
Almost like the "Hints & Solutions Effect".

I didn't realize the drop down menu at the topright was different from the menubar at the top, it has the option.
Alright, disregard this topic.

It should really be in the Options though.

I'm really struggling here!
I went into debug mode (in a nonpopular program+language, meaning I have to do everything from scratch), and checked if the results and whatnot are really perfect, ie. no extra null on the end of the sent string or something.
Anyways, I always get error 540 no matter what.
I tried both a C++ dll, and currently a php-header-based online method, but neither works (the latter for easily testing different things).
I put in the example from the site I got it from (MSNPiki), and I got the correct result in return too.

I think it might be a problem having to do with the guide using MSNP11, while the current servers are MSNP15 or greater (no idea).
Maybe they changed even the MSNP11 values, although I am unsure.
If anybody could help me here, I would be grateful.
If anybody wants to see, here's the link:

Hey!

Is it possible to send messages with custom MIME Content-types?
For instance text/x-invite or text/x-other or something.
I mean not just fake invites/action messages, I want to send a whole new mime-type of my own.

0173 works perfectly. Remember that it must be the numpad.

Geez. Then I'd probably tell her how to hijack her messenger.

But that's only on my end, not on the other's, so they still see it.
It's only a crude workaround, it's not the same message.

It didn't put a gap in between for me, while I am using 50x50 animated emotes.
Otherwise I can't send the others immediately, since the Insane says: really gets in the way.
I'll have to resort to trying to hack WLM again. msn_happy.gif

Hey!

Having just completed my large 250x100 emoticon split into single 50x50 emotes, I just discovered that windows live messenger only allows me to put 5 emoticons into one message.
I remember that the old msn didn't do this. How can I get around this?
I managed to hex the nudge limit out completely, but I'm at loss where to begin for this.
I would normally use a different program, but it doesn't support windows live's custom emotes.
So, any tips on how to get around this?
