MSN may have promised people a release date (which may or may not have been the 7th) but remember they've also failed a LOT of other deadlines before this, so it could quite easily be delayed a few days/weeks.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't MSN say something about the release on msn.com if it was to be released tomorrow?? Or do they like to keep people guessing?

Not at all msn_confused.gif. It's been planned for 2006 a long time ago.

In the article they says tomorrow instead of using 7th, thats why u don`t see 7th in the norwegian article.

Well the only way to find it out is to just wait for early tomorrow:)

As I stated earlier, the release date for Msn Messenger 7 is April 7. 2005 according to a reliable source. For those questioning my source and the information I reported, neowin.net has posted an article on their website stating the release of Msn Messenger is due for tomorro.

Microsoft have a habit of just releasing stuff. The refresh release (not inital) of their anti spyware was totally unannounced.

Probably late tomorrow (unless the timezones confusing me what with being in the UK) because in the past all BETA releases from Microsoft have been early evening. That may be early morning in the US, i dunno.

Interesting article on the mess.be homepage now:
QUOTE
Evil comes upon us with an extra 111! Just a very short while we announced here that MSN Messenger 7 will get out of its beta phase next Friday or Saturday, some people stamped a hoax sticker on the message, some people got overexcited.

But now, I've got a present for you., Exclusively and fresh from the Microsoft download press, I bring you the full version of MSN Messenger 7.0.0777!

What's new ?
- The thumbnails from version 7.0.0734 are smoothed
- All beta tags and nags are removed
- A new "welcome to Messenger" popup has been added, to inform you about all its new features

So what you waiting for ? Get it NOW

The latest beta build (732) is still far too buggy, so unless they've managed to fix all the bugs I don't see that it can be a particularly reliable release :/

Where exactly did Dwergs get it, anyway?

The fact that the download for it was added just before the day it was slated to be released. Coincidence; I think not msn_tongue.gif
