I'm trying to install vista on a new HDD i bought but it keeps coming up with error 0x80300001 or "Windows cannot open the required file F:\Sources\Install.wim". I thought it was just this new HDD so I tried reinstalling vista on the old one that I took out but again, same thing. Its not the disc because I've tried different vista disc. Can anyone help?

By any chance is the second disc from the same .iso?

It could be a corrupt download. Head over to Microsoft.com and download it again.

Each disc is from a different ISO. Which leads me to believe its the motherboard but I don't know what happened to it.
