Not sure if this is the right place to post this but has anyone else noticed that Windows Live Messenger build 812 is now shipping. Well that’s what I have just got from http://get.live.com/messenger/overview and earlier I was getting build 792.

Wonder what has changed in the past 20 builds?

I've found some changes, but I'll only be able to update the list for 15 minutes msn_sad.gif

Change 1: The "Read the Messenger Team Blog" menu item in Help now goes to the spaces.live.com domain instead of the spaces.msn.com domain.

Change 2: There seems to be another link for dynamic content in the Display Picture changer window, and BlueMountain's link has been renamed to Kiwee.

Change 3: The "More" button in the winks panel is now a menu leading to different content providers.

I think the link. Blue Mountain still exists http://www.bluemountain.com/ . I can't see anything to do with messenger on there anymore. Looks like they've switched over.

Hmm not sure if it is a name change or not then. It certainly isn't new with 812 though. I noticed a while back it had changed and I also have 7.5 as well as WLM and it's Kiwee there. More like a name change.

Yes, we need messpatch. Here are some more changes I noticed:

1. The toast tops are ALOT smaller.
2. The "Windows Live Messenger" title at the top (above the dashboard) is alot smaller.
3. "Create Dynamic Display Picture" link when you click the arrow under your display pic has been added (I think... I never noticed it).

Thats all I can see that hasn't been meantioned >_>.

EDIT:

4. A crap load of new links when you go to change your status/prefrences.
5. Add-ins are now enabled (without the registry key download).
6. Display pictures in contact list msn_sarcastic.gif? No idea if they were there before >_>.

No I didn't get one either. Just downloaded it from get.live.com. On the MSN website it is still the 792 version so maybe when that is updated to 812 you will get the update notification.
