Umm, mine is half silver half blue?
Any chance of being able to add a colorize button at all?
Other than it being half blue and half silver for me, it seems nice so far. Will make another post if I happen to come accross any bugs

icons an stuff shuld be changed around look at the mac messengers they have out an u can see an get a lock there cuz a gray skin is nuffin u know but still nice

if someone with a mac could provide me with the icons for the messenger or even a screenshot of the new messenger with all the icons displaying i would be gratfull.

Looks good , but i think you should change the font of "Mac Messenger"

this will also be done does anyone have any idea what font to change it to though? i never used messenger on a mac befor.

UPDATE: i have almost made all the icons ready to replace. truble is i dont no ware they are all located and i keep searching but turn up blank. i really need some help on this one? anyone here willing to replace the icons for me. I need someone who knows what they are doing. i have replaced some icons already (the ones i no) but yeah im stuck now. everything is ready to go.. just need the damn icons in the right places... so yeah CALLING ALL SKINNERS HELP!!!

Please note anyone who wish's to help me skin this will get credit as a skin designer.. after this skin is created il provide all the infomation on how it was created aswell as all the png's and icons and stuff.. the whole point in me getting into skinning other than making some nice skins was to get others skinning.. there seams to be lack of infomation on skinning WLM..

I like the brushed skin better. It looks more like a mac skin instead of just a grey skin

I think I found a bug.  When I put myself as busy, away, or any other status, it still says "online".  The good part is, is that i show myself as busy in other people's msn.

I think the default Mac OSX font is Lucida, but I am not sure.

ok cheers Wasabinc i will fix this as soon as possible and i will check out that font. it sounds fermiliar so you might be right..

i have turned all the icons back to normal from the last build also Wasabinc this will probs fix the bug.

i have also just made some changes in the latest vershion i havent yet released. most changes are to the icons in the status tray. im still trying to figure out the icons in the contact list and the emoticon icon and wink icon and the others i posted above...

With the Mac Messenger title, don't use a serif font, use a sans-serif, like Tahoma, or Arial.

Serif just doesn't go with mac themes I find =/

ok cool i will keep that in mind on the next release. i tryed all the mac fonts i could find. i cant seam to find the right look for it maybe someone here knows the right font / font size used. so if anyone has access to a mac steel me the font and note down the size used hopfully i will get the rest of the icons replaced soon. i have had a job interview today and i have another tommrow so i cant do much work today or tommrow on the skin. but i will do as much as i can and try and get this skin finished as soon as possible.

The 'share files' in the conversation thing doesn't work.
also, when I open a conversation from contact list, it only opens the guy from above. But it doesn't happen all the time.

um very strange never seen a bug like the second one befor not sure on what i have done to cause this. the shared files i was attempting to remove when learning to skin and i used a backup of a skin i was learning on to create this as i had the removed the ads and stuff already removed. maybe i used the wrong backup. i will check this out tommrow if i get some time. i am having alot of work to do lately but when i get free time i will work on this. hopfully on wends..... i will have the whole day to sort stuff out if all goes to plan.

Ok just keeping you updated on the progress so far. Also just wanted to thank Willz as he has very kindely been giving me some of his time and help when he has been avalable.

Update:

Fixed Bugs:
Colorize issue has been solved.

Unfixed Bugs:
Shared Folders Bug. (Still trying to work this one out)

Work Needed To Be Done:
Replacing of some icons (Looking for an RLE viewer for the icons.. some icons are shown in hex cant decode them to find what they are to edit.)
Borders (They still colorize simple to fix though)
Mac Font on Main Window (Still unsrure on the Font/Font size.)

Current Possibilitys:
Min/Max/Close with mouse overs have been requested unsure on if i will do this yet but its possible and i may do this if i have time.

For the "Mac Messenger" title bar font, I suggest Arial, Arial Narrow, or Calibri.

Don't like the silver Apple Icon O.o

Also like you said, borders and min/max/close button mouse overs would be awesome.

well i might have a job today.. (been looking for a job for the past 9 months). hopfully i get it.. but unfortunatley if i get the job i wont have much time on the skin. thanfully most things left to do are simple things that can be done fairly quick. i have all the icons ready just need a RLE to png viewer so i no what to replace.. the borders ill probs do by the end of the day. the min/max/close ill do tommrow if i ant working . glad you like the simple look.. thats what i was going for.

creating the png's arnt the problem nore is viewing them.. but getting the program to vire the RLE file for the icons is hard to get your hands on. the icons for the contact list for example are made up from a long image with all the icons in it and then they get chopped up. but they are all under the same resorce. i need the rle converted to a png so i no the order and size to make. this is whats slowing me down big time atm. i have all the icons ready in png format ready for resizing and putting together.

The programs called RLE to PNG its a DOS app so if anyone has the app or even already converted RLE's please let me no so i can use them/it.
