windows live messenger .1302.1018 problems, patching problems Options

i have sp3 and i cannot get some stuff to patch
i did NOT check to remove pictures when you sign in and those are gone
i checked to remove the banner on the bottom. thats still there
i checked to removed "get accessories link" thats still there
i checked to "remove text links on bottom of converstation" thats still thee.


anybody else have these problems?
i uninstalled and reinstalled and patched on new version and that didnt work
one time i didnt check to show the "(away), (idle)" stuff at the end of there names and that showed up

whats wrong?
