sorry for the dumb question, but new versions of msn don't work on my husbands computer. and i was always fond of msn 6.2. i downloaded a version from oldversion.com and it said to find the oppropriate patch on this site to get it working without being forced to update. however i can't find or figure out what the correct patch is. i tried downloading a patch for all messenger 6 versions (no idea if it was the right one) but it said it couldn't find the msn file, despite me pointing it to it.

could somone please direct me to the correct patch?

Yeah sorry I had a look earlier but couldn't find it for any version earlier than 7.0 on this site or the mess patch site. I swear it used to be on here. Where did you get the ones you tried downloading?

errr, mess.be. i wasn't really sure what i was downloading anyway so it may have been the wrong thing completely. either way i couldn't get it to do anything so it doesn't matter. thankyou for your help.
