Using the MessPatch Light site with Java applet. (http://patch.mess.be/?p=light#)

When i check the boxes and click "patch" i get and error : "You must log in as an computer administrator to continue"

Im using Windows 7 professional x64
Logged in as administrator

Yeah Vista and I'm sure Windows 7 is probably the same tries to be way too secure. You need to run your internet browser as administrator. Right click the internet browser icon and then select "run as administrator"

The Mess patch only refers to version 6-7-8.5-9 - NOT the version 14...

Before u replied i lost patience at downgraded to version 8.5..
This i could patch and get rid of the annoying adds...

But i really wanted the newer version patched...

So.. is it possible to patch the Windows Live Messenger version (14.0.8089.726) using the mess Patch lite ?

Version 9 is version 14. I have just found this in the FAQ...

i have same version when i try to run light patch it just giving be blank screen in Firefox and IE just saying its not allowin DEP(Which i disabled it as per instruction) still cannot run...any help would be appreciated..
