"The man" wants to change the image of the classic looney toons, including bugs bunny, daffy, taz, into some strange and twisted dark looking characters in a new series "Loonatics" set in the future.

What type of message is this putting out to kids though? They all look like psychotic serial killers. The name "Loonatics" seems to be promoting anti-social behaviour. As if anthropomorphism wasn't scary enough alone. It's all about making more money. But the characters on this you can hardly make out their individuality. Again possibly supporting how individuals in gangs are not seen as individuals, but as a single group or entity. It's fair enough that things need to be modernized to fit today's society, but this sort of stuff seems to have emphasis on violence and evil. So let me get this straight - the evil ones are now the good guys? What ever happened to the whole good vs. evil convention where good always prevails? But if you look at most cartoons on the TV today, it's all about violence. Things were taken a step further when cult-series Dragonball Z was aired on kids' channels with constipated muscle men, if so a bit more censored. So now we have psychotic, dark, generic characters on our cartoon channels. How long will it be before we start seeing sexual references? ;x

OMFG - LOL i still watch cartoons and Looney Toons are the classic funniest cartoons for like ages. How can you change the characters to some monsters that looked like an ugly stick whacked them on the head repeatedly.
Its not that the children are bored with the old characters (as the website says W Bros said). Its just that they havnt made new episodes. They just show repeat. If they use better drawers, better quality film and new storyboards, children will like them!

But that flash movie is just based on the fact theyre changing bugs bunny, and thats the new bunny... you don't think theyll destroy all warner bros. stuff JUST because some new version is out?

It will still be shown... I don't see the big fuss... if they were burning all the old film then fair enough, but theyre no...
